Creating a Font with a Grid
Our task with this project was to create a word using original letterforms that we created via Illustrator. Using a grid that we created from scratch, it was left to us to decide the word, portraying the word within the letterforms. My theme was around the word, 'rings'.
Pictogram Story
With this project, we would reinterpret a news story using only symbols and color, limiting the use of typography within the posters.
Ten Symbols
Our last project for this class tasked us to create our own symbols. We chose something that was in relation to ourselves and through the second half of the semester, created iterations, both digital and handmade, before finalizing our complete symbol designs.
