DES 160 - Design Photography
Light and Shadow
Our first project involved focusing on taking pictures involving light and shadow.
Angle and Level
The second project required us to take pictures of an object/setting from two different angles and levels.
Form and Image
In this project, we were given small sheets of paper to create a curved form and a straight edge form. From there, we were tasked to photograph these pieces of paper in both dark and light backgrounds.
Object in Studio and Environment
Rather than a piece of paper, we were tasked to take photograph an object with the dark and light backgrounds which would complete the studio aspect of the project. The second task required us to take photos of the object within its environment.
Visual Diary
Throughout the semester, we were tasked to photograph and collect a series of photos pertaining to a selected theme. The theme could ranger from form, repetition, color, etc. I chose to focus on color, specifically, the color/shade of orange.
